One of the highlights of the event was the presence of the ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines, His Excellency Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino who graced the occasion as a guest speaker. He emphasized Malaysia's commitment to providing a warm and welcoming experience for tourists, inviting visitors to explore the country's natural beauty, vibrant cities, rich cultural heritage fostering Muslim-friendly tourism.

The efforts of Tourism Malaysia Manila were recognized at the event, as they were awarded the prestigious "Best NTO of the Year" and "Consumers' Choice International Destination" awards. Not only did Tourism Malaysia Manila receive recognition, but the Embassy of Malaysia in the Philippines also won the "Best Embassy" award. This further signifies the commitment of Malaysia to fostering strong diplomatic ties and promoting its rich heritage and attractions to the Filipino market.

Furthermore, the expo provided an opportunity for Tourism Malaysia, Manila headed by Director Yazlina Azlin Yahya to engage in fruitful discussions with industry professionals, travel agents, and tour operators.
