LEADING digital solutions platform Globe dominated the HR Excellence Awards (HREA) 2023 with nine awards, including five golds across multiple categories, cementing its stature as an HR powerhouse.
Globe won Gold in five categories: Employer of the Year, Excellence in Employee Engagement, Excellence in Digital Transformation, Excellence in Use of HR Tech and Excellence in Learning and Development.
Aside from the gold haul, the company also took home three silver awards for Excellence in HR Communication Strategy, Excellence in HR Innovation and Excellence in Corporate Wellness. It also took home a Bronze for Excellence in Women Empowerment Strategy.
HREA is an international program organized by Singapore-based Human Resources Online, a leading international organization that honors and celebrates distinguished companies in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand with outstanding work in employee engagement.
Globe Chief Human Resource Officer Renato Jiao said the Globe Group's nine awards reflect the company's commendable practices as an employer.

Last year, Globe was declared the overall Philippine winner at the HREA as it bagged six citations for its commendable practices as an employer. It became the first Philippine organization to be honored with the title after receiving three Gold Awards for Employee Engagement, Covid-19 Response and Employer of the Year. It was also feted with a Silver Award for HR Communication Strategy and a Bronze Award for Crisis Management and Recovery.
